PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Biblical Leadership Equipping School for Servants (BLESS) aims to offer Certificate in Christian Ministry for incoming Pastors and Servant leaders who are Christ- centered, Compassionate and Competent.

CERTIFICATE IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

Description:

The Certificate in Christian Ministry program is intended to advance the knowledge and skills of incoming ministers and servant leaders in Christian ministry.  The Certificate in Christian Ministry is a comprehensive program that equips students with essential skills for effective ministry. It covers topics such as biblical studies, leadership principles, and practical ministry skills.

Program Guidelines:

  • A. Students who have finished at least Senior High School, at least two years of church membership, one year of ministry, and have received the support of their pastor or church council chairman are eligible for the program.
  • B. Students must take all CORE Courses and at least two Electives (equivalent to 30 units) to Graduate from this program. 
  • C. All Graduates of the Christian Ministry Program are eligible for call as Pastor in training while continuously studying Pastoral Ministry Studies in the next two years to be eligible for ordination.

PASTORAL MINISTRY ELIGIBILITY PROGRAM

Description:

The purpose of the Pastoral Ministry Eligibility program is to improve the credentials and abilities of current and incoming pastors in Christian service. Students with a certificate in Christian ministry or its equivalent, at least two years of church attendance, one year of ministry experience, and endorsement from their church’s pastor or council chairman are eligible for the program.

Also, Biblical Leadership Equipping School for Servants (BLESS) is now one of the recognized and authorized training institutions for CRCP.

Program Guidelines:

  • A. Students who graduated from the Christian Ministry Program can continue through Pastoral Ministry Studies.
  • B. Students must successfully complete 90 units to graduate from the Program.
  • C. All credits from the Christian Ministry Program are credited to the program.
  • D. To get the 9 units under Ministry Experience, the student’s calling church (Senior Pastor, attested by the Chairman of the Consistory) must provide a written recommendation stipulating all ministry-related accomplishments of the student.
  • E. All Graduates of the Pastoral Ministry Studies are eligible to take the Ordination exam.

CERTIFICATE IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

Description:

The purpose of the Preaching Elders Track is to improve the knowledge, skills, credentials, and abilities of current and incoming Elders in Christian service, especially in the aspect of Preaching the Word of God.

Program Guidelines:

  • A. All Elders of CRCP are encouraged to take the courses to help them improve their abilities in pulpit preaching.
  • B. CRCP’s guidelines on Eligibility to preach to Preaching Elders will be carried.

ADMISSIONS

Applicants are those who have completed middle school (senior high) making them eligible to apply for a college education level. However, for admission to BLESS, the applicants will need to undergo further screening and selection based on the criteria and policies.

Qualifications of Students

  • 1. Age should be at least 18 years old
  • 2. Should have completed at least Senior High School
  • 3. At least two years membership in the church and one year involvement in ministry
  • 4. Endorsed by the pastor or council chairman of his/her church.

Admission Requirements:

  • 1. Fill up a pre-registration application Form with short essay on why the student wants to study in our school, or if not full-time student, why he/she wants to take a particular course
  • 2. Student Conversion Story
  • 3. Undergo interview
  • 4. Pay tuition fee of P 3,000 per course on or before the first session. Churches are encouraged to provide scholarship or subsidy to their endorsed students.
    (For a course to open, there needs to be at least 10 students)
