Sermon Preparation and Delivery

Course Description:
This course will introduce and guide the students to understand, prepare and deliver Expository Messages. It will equip them to move from exegesis to exegetical outline and develop relevant Christ-centered messages. The students will work on sample Bible passages and given pointers in preparing, preaching and evaluating expository sermons.
Course Objectives:
- To develop a biblical understanding of preaching and its role in the life of the church.
- To equip students with the necessary skills to prepare and deliver effective sermons.
- To provide opportunities for students to practice and receive feedback on their sermon preparation and delivery.
- To cultivate a sensitivity to the needs of the congregation and the wider community in our sermon preparation.
- To encourage students to reflect on their preaching and engage in ongoing learning and growth.
